Special drive to disburse 67,000 Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) to farmers in Dhubri

DHUBRI: A special drive will kick off from April 24 to disburse 67,000 (Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) under PM Kishan Yojna to the farmers of Dhubri district.

Similarly, from April 25, the PM Fasal Bima Pathsala campaign will also be launched for seven days across the district. This was informed by Dhubri District Development Commissioner, Kanta Das in a meeting held at the DC conference hall's with officials including Lead Bank Manager Nabeen Koomar, on Friday.

DDC Kanta Das directed all the Block Development Officers of Dhubri district to organize meetings with beneficiary farmers at their respective offices at 11am daily and appraise about the ongoing agricultural schemes for their overall development of farming.

In the block-level meeting, a one-page form will be distributed among the selected beneficiaries to be filled and submitted by May 1 for further processing in the bank, Dhubri district Lead Bank Manager, Nabeen Koomar informed. Later, a press meet was addressed by DDC, Kanta Das and Dhubri district Lead Bank Manager, Nabeen Koomar wherein both of them elaborately briefed media persons about the schemes and on its ways of implementation.
